I would like start by asking you what does it mean to praise & worship?

Praise means: Commend express admiration for, applaud, pay tribute to, speak highly of, eulogize, compliment congratulate, sing the praises of, rave about, go into raptures about, heap praise on, wax lyrical about, make much of, pat on the back, take one's hat off to, lionize, admire, hail, ballyhoo, formal laud, express one's respect and gratitude towards (a deity), especially in song.

Worship mean: the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity. "the worship of God" reverence, veneration, adoration, glorification, glory, exaltation; show reverence and adoration for (deity), honor with religious rites. 

As we see Praise & Worship go hand in hand with each other. The worship team are the front goers when the service starts. The Worship Team takes us into the presence of God. As The Worship Team begins to praise and worship they usher the presence of God. The worship team are the one that start breaking walls down, that get everyone in the mood, and prepare the people to receive the word or the message that God has for their hearts.
